This site is a tribute to Bob. He is much loved and will always be remembered.

The funeral service took place at The Church of the Good Shepherd on Friday 14th February with Mr Christopher Howell officiating. On entry to the church, a recording of Crazy Wild Desire by Webb Pierce was played. During the service, the mourners listened to recordings of Once a dayby Connie Smith, Let’s put it back together again by Jerry Lee Lewis, Rock around the clock by Bill Haley and Last song together by Neil Sedaka. The recessional music was I’ll take you home again Kathleen by Joseph Locke.

The service was followed by committal at Mile End Cemetery.

The bearers were Tom McKenzie (son), Paul McKenzie (son), Danny McKenzie (grandson), Alex McKenzie (grandson), Ross McKenzie (grandson) and Gordon Edmunds

The funeral arrangements were carried out by Ernest Heal & Sons, 5 South Road, Broadwell, Gloucestershire, who are collecting donations for the Great Western Air Ambulance Charity which would be sincerely appreciated and these may be given online sent to: Ernest Heal & Sons Independent Family Funeral Directors, Coleford, (Please make cheques payable to Ernest Heal Donations Account).
